Merriweather Home + Market, at 25 S. Elm Street, will hold its annual seed swap on Friday, March 24 from 3 to 6 p.m. in partnership with Thistle + Co., Chappell Farms and Vibrant Earth Seeds.
Merriweather Home Market, on Elm Street, features over 50 local artisans and vendors in shop. The market was opened in October 2021 by Erin Hanson as a way for local artists to be showcased and have a chance to sell their goods.
Erin Hanson, owner of Merriweather Home + Market, is one of many Cortez retailers hoping to draw local shoppers.
“I wanted to create a space where we could all gather at one spot and support each other and show the community that Cortez is something to talk about,” she said.
